On the first day we had a briefing on Subject combinations and PDPs(CCAs but they call it Personal Development Programmes).After that we had mass dance.Boogied to the song of S Club 7.That was the first song.
Day 2 we had amazing race!Went to Pasir Ris NTUC to find green apple colouring,baby powder for 6-18months,body soap for babies.After that had to travel to Simei to play some bomber game whereby we have to find the safe route from one end to the other,something like Minesweeper,I think we played the least number of games cause we were having our OWN bonding session at KFC,aha!After that we back to TJ for another mass dance,which was another song.Dance moves were even harder than the S Club.
Day 3!Mass games and mass dance!One thing was for sure,lots of flour was used during the mass games.Had to sit on it while moving along the chairs and playing scissors paper stone with the opponent.
Day4! The best day during the orientation.We had the 2nd half of the mass games,had to press my whole face into flour to get mentos.Yucks!
Oh yeah,we also had to prepare a skit for our clan audition.I acted as Fei Yu Qing and my partner,Yao Chuan,had to act as Jay Chou.Super hilarious.I had to be so thick skinned to run back to the mic and snatch it while saying "Please vote for me,I'm Fei Yu Qing."Lols kinda nice when the whole clan cheers for you =D
After that we headed to Suntec for the REAL mass dance.Had dinner at Macs with Joshua,YaoChuan and Hamizan.Had pretty interesting topics with them.After that we headed back to the fountain for mass dance.What a magnificent sight to behold!Everyone was in their orientation shirt and we were facing the fountain while dancing,one was S Club,another The Sign,one couple dance That Thing You Do and our TJ trademark dance SPEEDY!SUPER COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. And we ran around the fountain to certain calls like OG16 or Chung Cheng students.Bonded with my OG mates during supper as well.
Day5!Had Battle of the Titans.Some games organised for us.Was exciting too,but pretty much drained due to the previous day.After that went Pasir Ris Whitesands for lunch and bonded with OGMs until 4.Went back to TJ for Orientation Night!Very very cretive,because for the past 4 days we had 4 snippets of our Orientation video based on our 4 clans,like some Lord of The Rings trailer.So tonight was the grand finale!Abrupt ending but our clan lost,but we still continued to cheer!Had lots of competitions like Dont Forget the Lyrics,Scenes from a Hat and Talent Time.Whoa the contestants SURE are talented.Then after that we did a portion of mass dance and we just ran around the hall screaming and dancing.We even had a live band perform songs like I'm Yours,The Reason and some peace song.I just kept shouting "They're hungry!" or something like that.
Hahhaahahahaha Orientation was sooo enjoyable!Made new friends,had friendly OG leaders that cared so much for us,most enthusiastic and loudest clan DAEKARON,and the best OG of all,OG16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOna miss them sooo much when real class begins.
